MICHAEL KORS New Flagship Store in Paris

'I am thrilled to open in Paris; I spent many years as an American in Paris during my Celine years, so this feels like a homecoming of sorts.  Rue Saint Honoré is the perfect street for my clients… glamourous, chic, romantic and fast-paced all at the same time.  I’m delighted to be back in the City of Light!' Michael Kors was present at the launch of his spanking new uber stylish boutique during Paris Fashion Week this morning. The American designer wore a black blazer, dark blue Levi's and black suede loafers. I caught Kors as he was coming up the second floor of the store and he graciously agreed to pose while I took his picture - such talent and good nature to boot!
A great vibe combined with gorgeous pieces at fantastic price points for  such  a cool, reputable luxury brand makes 279 rue Saint Honoré a total fashionista haven.

KENZO A/W11/12

'I had a dream,' said Kenzo's Creative Director Antonio Marras in his show notes. 'I was seduced by the total charm of the virile delicacy of female artists with rebel souls.'
A subtle palette of earth tones - mossy green, cedar, burnt brown, ocre, bronze, red and aubergine opened the Kenzo autumn/winter 2011/12 ladies collection. Chiffon prints encrusted with flower patterns, cashmere and lace striped fabrics paid homage to Marras' dream of New Mexico and revolutionary female artists such as Frida Kahlo and Georgia O'Keeffe. Rich brocades and delicate silks both featured deep, dense shades mixed in layers of fluid and masculine wools.

CELINE A/W 11/12

If ever you needed a lesson on classy, sophisticated dressing, look no further - Brit girl Phoebe Philo schooled us all earlier this afternoon at the unveiling of Céline's next winter collection. Going from strength to strength, the luxury French brand hit the ground running once again! A magical collection - every piece was immaculately executed and together the silhouettes were clearly a cut above!

HOGAN by KARL LAGERFELD A/W 11/12 Collection

Brrr... although the sun was blazing in a perfect, picturesque blue sky, a chill was definitely felt around Paris this season. Reassuringly Karl Lagerfeld has joined forces with Hogan to create a succinct capsule line that aims to take the edge off next winter with a range of ultra light down coats, windbreakers, zip-through jackets, sleeveless bodywarmers and bomber jackets. A complementary shopping bag, trainers and comfy/smart footwear add the finishing touches to a creatively cool collection.
