QASIMI HOMME 5pm Les Beaux-Arts de Paris, salle Melpomène, 13 quai Malaquais, Paris 6e

'A boy struggles to cope with his turbulent adolescence and deals with the latent power of becoming a destructive man in the future world. He rediscovers his tribal instincts for comfort and protection in his transgressive journey toward darkness.' Qasimi's inspirations for his new collection were plain to see at his show during Paris Men's Fashion Week: Future Tribalism - Body Scars, Traditional Armours, Tribal Tattoo, Oil Spills and Cave Art, to name but a few.
The collection featured edgy fur lined biker jackets, quilted jackets with high collars, raw-edged bib shirt, leather hunting jackets, super slim tattoo tops and leggings as well as light reflecting chunky knit wraps. Uber fitted pieces were contrasted with oversized garments featured in a decadent array of fabrics including cashmere, lambswool, virginwool, hand-dyed leather, rabbit fur, waxed and varnished cotton.
